I have 2 years experience as a Finance Manager in the National Policing Improvement Agency, 1 year experience in the Metropolitan Police as a Deputy Finance Manager and a further 3 years experience in an established accounting firm as an Assistant Accountant. As a Finance Manager I was responsible for 5 big profit centres including the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and ISIS – Information Systems Improvement Strategy, managing a budget in circular of £20 million. Preparing monthly forecasts, variance reports, journals, pre-payments, accruals and conducting financial analysis was pivotal in my day to day responsibilities, whilst accumulating 3 years of SAP experience to analyse data.

Chief Technology Office (CTO), Olympics, CuCp TCO, Holmes2 Replatforming, Future Communications Programme (FCP), ISIS – Information Systems Improvement Strategy, working on programmes with budgets of £20 million. • Prepared monthly variance reports (variances between the year to date forecast against the actual’s) and financial analysis reporting this to the Finance Business Partner’s and Business Units. • Responsible for producing monthly and quarterly forecasts for five big profit centres. • Balance sheet reconciliations on SAP for 5 big profit centres. • Completed the monthly Proms Report for ISIS to the Home Office; reporting for the variances year to date against the original budget. • Prepared budget templates and corrections – Liaising with project managers and budget holders in setting budgets and forecasts for the next financial year. • Prepared audit packs for the auditors (e.g. back up documents for accrued expenses/ income). • Responded to any queries budgets/ finance related; assisted with the re-structuring of project codes (WBS – Work breakdown structure). • Advised the business unit on how to use SAP reports e.g. goods receipting reports etc. • Investigated reversals of goods receipting on SAP. • Supported month end and closure processes. • Prepared journals, prepayments, Business unit accruals and accrued Income. • Reviewed accruals against actual invoices. • Provided financial administrative support to ICTS Business Unit. • Prepared sales invoices for the Business Unit within (ICTS) Information Communication Technology Systems.
